In 2014, Utour became the first private travel company in China to go public (Stock code：SZ002707) and was officially renamed Utour holding group in 2016.

Utour group is a senior member of the Asia Pacific Travel Association (PATA) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA),
as well as a 5A level international travel agency registered with the China Tourism Association,
the China Association of Travel Agencies and the Beijing Tourism Industry Association.
In September 2020, Alibaba Group which the world's Internet giant, became the second largest shareholder of Utour,
and formed a joint venture with Utour to expand the global tourism market .
