Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive in Guangzhou

Upon arrival at Hong Kong International Airport, your personal tour guide will be waiting to greet you outside the baggage claim area. En route to your pre-booked 4-star or 5-star downtown hotel, the guide will walk you through the city’s iconic highlights and time-honored history. The remainder of the day is yours to explore this captivating metropolis at your leisure.

Step into Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, wander through this pearl of Lingnan architectural art, admire the exquisite craftsmanship of "three types of carvings, two types of sculptures, one type of casting and one type of painting", and feel the profound heritage of Cantonese clan culture amidst the symmetrical courtyards and elaborately decorated beams and pillars. Then walk into Yongqing Fang, wander through the streets lined with grey brick houses and wooden sliding doors, see the blend of arcade architecture and artistic atmosphere, and experience the Lingnan customs and urban vitality after the old town's micro-renewal. Next, head to Shamian Island, stroll among the buildings with European-style charm, admire the diverse old architectures including Gothic and Baroque styles, and feel the collision between history and exotic culture. Afterwards, step into Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, wander along the street with a continuous stretch of arcades, see the reflection of old shops and traditional signboards, and appreciate the century-old charm of Xiguan commercial culture. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the high-speed railway station and take a bullet train to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, your local tour guide will greet you and escort you to the hotel, offering a brief introduction to the city along the way.
