Wander through Shanghai’s most charming neighborhoods to feel its diverse character! Lose yourself in Tianzifang’s winding shikumen alleyways, where art galleries, boutique handicraft shops, and cozy cafes blend old Shanghai’s nostalgic texture with creative energy. Meander Sinan Road in the Former French Concession, where century-old Western-style villas nestle under plane trees, and the quiet lanes reveal stories of past celebrities. Step into Yu Garden, a masterpiece of Ming and Qing dynasty garden design—admire intricate pavilions, winding rockeries, serene ponds, and “Yulinglong,” one of Jiangnan’s famous exotic stones, to soak up the essence of traditional Chinese garden art. Don’t miss Shanghai City God Temple, where ancient eaves and incense-filled air merge, offering a glimpse into the city’s deep-rooted folk culture and the harmony of religious heritage with urban life.
On arrival into Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) or Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG), you will be met by your dedicated tour guide outside the baggage claim area. On the way to your pre-booked four or five star inner city hotel, your guide will point out the highlights and history of Shanghai. Spend the rest of the day exploring this incredible city.
