Destinations Highlights: Shanghai → Kunming → Hong Kong
Start your journey in Shanghai, the dynamic "Pearl of the Orient"! Dive into its rich culture at Shanghai Museum—home to over 140,000 artifacts that tell the city’s story—then stroll The Bund, a "Gallery of World Architecture" where colonial-era buildings stand beside the Huangpu River. Take a one-hour river cruise to admire the stark contrast between historic riverside structures and modern icons like the Oriental Pearl Tower, and wander the bustling Nanjing Road for shopping or the quiet, tree-lined streets of the Former French Concession to soak up classic Shanghai charm.
Next, fly to Kunming, China’s "Spring City"! Wander Green Lake Park—its Nine-Zigzag Bridge, Haixin Pavilion, and playful squirrels offer a peaceful escape—and explore Kunming Old Street, where late Qing and Republican-era buildings (including Nie Er’s Former Residence and the quirky "Wine Glass Building") reveal the city’s past. Don’t miss Dianchi Lake, where you can gaze at the hazy "Sleeping Beauty" Western Hills and watch black-headed gulls skim the water, or Dounan Flower Market—Asia’s largest fresh-cut flower market—where you can experience the fun of "buying flowers by weight."
Wrap up your adventure in Hong Kong, a vibrant fusion of East and West! Visit Wong Tai Sin Temple, where resplendent halls blend Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, then stroll Flower Market Road for a burst of color. Walk the Avenue of Stars to spot film industry handprints and overlook Victoria Harbour, take a century-old Star Ferry across the water, and climb The Peak’s Sky Terrace 428 for panoramic views of the city’s skyline. Relax on Repulse Bay’s clean beach, soak up the fishing village vibe in Aberdeen, and browse Stanley Market’s retro streets for unique handicrafts—ending your trip with a perfect mix of urban energy and coastal charm.
On arrival into Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) or Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG), you will be met by your dedicated tour guide outside the baggage claim area.
